Promoting Democracy

Since the founding of the American Republic, the mission of the United States has been to spread democracy throughout the world. One nation has followed in our footsteps-Israel. The U.S. must still continue to foster democracies throughout the world and specifically the Middle East. Israel and the United States have the ability and should move forward in helping, guiding and assisting in the creation of a democratic nation for the Palestinian people. Palestine existed before Israel became a state. The United States and Israel must recognize this so peace can be attained throughout the region. It is important to have a roadmap that starts on the correct path for peaceful coexistence between Israel and its neighbors.
