Proliferation

It is imperative the U.S. and all European nations to take seriously the threats from Syria, Libya and Iran regarding unconventional weapons and advanced missile technology being sold by rogue states to these nations. Russia, China and North Korea must be stopped from selling any more weapon materials to these nations. Syria embraces and states that they have state-sponsored terrorist groups. With the onset of September 11th, 2001 the United States must recognize these nations as being hostile toward America and the world community. Iran is actively working on its nuclear weapons program that will alter the security of the region forever and Libya continues to allow the training of terrorist groups who are willing to strike any source in the free world including the United States and Israel.

I will not however support the Syria Accountability Act to ensure that Syria is dealt with severely if they don't take the necessary steps ending the sponsorship of terrorist organizations until the Israeli government starts practicing democracy within its borders and treats the refugees with the same rights and freedoms that non-refugees have the privilege of. The United States must take a diplomatic stance and help solve the terrorist issue in a cohesive and peaceful manner. There is state sponsored terrorism that exists and its must be stopped however we as a leader of the world community must also realize that many parts of terrorism can be called freedom fighters. I will stand with the Syrian Accountability Act on certain conditions such as if Syria or Iran acts aggressively against U.S. interests on U.S. soil or abroad.
